The Correspondence Course

General Description

This is a comprehensive course. Although it is designed to be studied over a three year period, this is only a guideline and depending on your circumstances, you may take a shorter or longer time to complete all the lessons. You will be assigned your own tutor
The course has been divided into three separate Parts, designed both for those who wish to take the exams of the British Institute of Graphologists (B.I.G.) as well as those who would like to study for interest.
The syllabus follows the requirements of the B.I.G. diploma. At the end of each Part of the course the student will have been given the knowledge to take the relevant exams.
The correspondence course can be started at any time of year as studying is done at the student's own pace. Some students send in their homework once a week, while others prefer a longer time span.
Homework is set with each lesson and is returned with comments as long as study is continuous i.e. homework needs to be sent in at least once in six months.
Equipment Needed     Pencil; empty ballpoint pen; protractor; magnifying glass (x10 magnification is sufficient - available from good opticians); clear plastic ruler and set square.
Books   A list of recommended reading will be sent with the relevant part. In the first instance, the following books are useful for beginners:
Jacqui Tew   "Handwriting" - an ideal book for the beginner and a useful reference for the rest of us
Amend and Ruiz   "Handwriting Analysis, The Complete Basic Book"
Jacoby   "Analysis of Handwriting"
