This course shows how to observe correctly and arrive at accurate interpretations for the following movements : |
Size | the whole (called absolute) size as well as the individual parts (called zones) which make up the absolute size of the letters |
Slant | the way the writing slopes |
Width | the broadness of the letter forms |
Form | the way the letters are formed (from rounded to angular) |
Links | the number of letters that are connected within a word |
Space | the space between the words and the lines |
Baselines | the imaginary line that is created as we write across the page |
Pressure | the indentation made by the writing instrument into the paper |
Style | the view or look that we create on the page |
Regularity | the frequency with which we repeat our writing movements |
Rhythm | the flow of the writing |
Margins | the space we choose for our left and right margins |
